HCC-URCC JV awarded Rs 798 crore Bangalore Metro contract
Infrastructure major, Hindustan Construction Company Ltd (HCC), a lead partner in the joint venture with URC Construction Pvt Ltd., has been awarded Rs 797.29 crore contract by the Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Ltd. HCC share in the JV is 51% (Rs 406.61 crore). The project is to be completed in 36 months.

HCC-HSEPL JV wins Rs 673 crore order in Rajasthan
HCC (Hindustan Construction Company Ltd), as a lead partner in the joint venture with HSEPL has been awarded Rs 672.99 crore contract on EPC basis for the construction of Parwan Gravity Dam by the Water Resources Department, Government of Rajasthan.

HCC turnover up 13.6% at Rs 1,358.3 crore in Q4 2016-17
HCC net profit for Q4 2016-17 is at Rs 20.9 crore versus Rs 21.81 crore and turnover for Q4 2016-17 is at Rs 1,358.3 crore versus Rs 1,196.0 crore in the same period last year. The financial numbers for this year and previous years reflect the recently introduced Indian Accounting Standard (Ind As) and are comparable. The company secured seven new orders worth Rs 5,375 crore in the FY 2016-17 and is the lowest bidder in projects worth Rs 2,804 crore. Excluding L1 bids, the order book has grown to Rs 20,390 crore from Rs 18,123 crore last year.

Arjun Dhawan appointed Whole Time Director & Group CEO of HCC
Hindustan Construction Company (HCC) today appointed Mr. Arjun Dhawan as the Whole Time Director & Group Chief Executive Officer w.e.f. 1st April, 2017, as Mr. Rajgopal Nogja decided to step down from the Group CEO's post to pursue his own interests. Mr. Nogja shall continue in his present role till March 31, 2017.

HCC Gets Future Ready with Govt Thrust on Infrastructure
HCC has implemented S4A and is in the advanced stages of collecting Rs 1,721 crore against arbitral awards as per the policy approved by CCEA. With these two major events, finance cost is likely to come down to half from next quarter onwards as compared to this quarter. Order Book is at Rs 20,936 crore plus Rs 2,804 crore of L1 orders.
