December 12, 2012 : Recently, CFO India, a premier finance magazine, honored a pool of emerging finance professionals from across India - as part of an initiative titled CFONEXT 100 - wherein rising stars from the finance function were recognized for their outstanding contributions to the corporate world and for being a cut above the rest with their leadership capabilities. In this regard, three of our colleagues from across the HCC Group - Kavita Shirvaikar, Head - Finance, HCC Ltd., Parul Shah, Vice President - Finance, HCC Infrastructure and Vinay Jadhav, Senior Vice President - Lavasa Corporation were felicitated as part of the CFONEXT 100 winners at a presentation ceremony held in Mumbai on December 11, 2012. The candidates were screened over a selection process spanning three months, where - from an initial list of over 300 nominations, 175 were shortlisted for the final interviews. Next, these shortlisted candidates were evaluated by eminent jury members who included Sugata Sircar - Managing Director, Gujarat Gas Company, Jaimin Bhatt - President & Group Chief Financial Officer, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Giri Giridhar - President - Finance, Wockhardt and Ajay Seth - Chief Financial Officer, Maruti Suzuki among others. Besides taking into account their career records, the candidates were also rated for participation at the leadership and innovation workshops and webinars that were conducted, and the final winners were selected subsequently.
