Mr Sandeep Chowdhury is Senior Vice President – Legal & General Counsel at HCC. He is a seasoned legal professional with more than 22 years of varied experience in litigation & arbitration, advisory, M&As, JVs, taxation, labour, IP laws, anti-trust / competition laws, handling legal issues before various courts including Supreme Court, risk mitigation & dispute resolutions, FCPA compliance and investigations for diversified industries. He has handled large scale litigations and arbitrations across India and globally, various NCLT related matters, CCI, CMA, matters against government regulators, dealing with financial services and structuring of deals/services etc.

Sandeep has worked with ANI Technologies Ltd. (OLA), heading legal, compliance & regulatory for all three business verticals. Before Ola, Sandeep worked with Nuvoco Vistas Corp Ltd. as Chief General Counsel & Exco Member and with UPL Ltd. as Global Legal Director & Deputy GC. He has also worked with companies like Advanta Seeds, Hindustan Coca Cola Beverages Ltd., Baxter International Inc., Bharti Wal-Mart Pvt Ltd. and M/s Khaitan & Co.

Sandeep has done his LLB (Hons) from the University of Calcutta. He has also completed his Intermediate CA.
