Santosh Rai is the Operations Director and Chief Business Officer (CBO) for HCC Ltd. He has over 21 years of experience in the construction sector, with a core focus on business development, construction management, planning and execution of infrastructure projects. He is a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) from Bapuji Institute of Engineering and Technology, Kuvempu University, Karnataka. In addition, he holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Advance Construction Management from the National Institute of Construction Management and Research (NICMAR), Pune.

He joined HCC in April 2005 as Planning Engineer for the iconic Bandra Worli Sea Link project. He was responsible for planning and constructing the cable-stayed bridges of the Sea Link. He was awarded a Certificate of Appreciation by the Government of Maharashtra for his extraordinary contribution to building this engineering marvel. He was honoured with Excellence Awards in consecutive financial years 2012 -13, 2013-14, and 2014-15.
